Steve Hernaman | Steve Harrison | Gerald Brook

On the 28th October 2003, Ease Springs formed with its first line-up. Gigs were played across the Essex & London circuit where instantly they received a great response from the crowd.

The following 2 years became a test as the band changed members, during which singer/songwriter Steve Hernaman played acoustic, as well as full band to maintain momentum. Venues such as Chinnerys (Southend), The BarFly (Camden) and The Standard (Walthamstow) were frequented. In 2005 bass player Steve Harrison joined Ease Springs, followed in 2006 by drummer Gerald Brook.

Since then the 3 piece have had an excellent run, headlining at the Anglia Ruskin University (Chelmsford) every 6-8 weeks, performing to capacity audiences at establishments across London (BarFly, The Red Rooms, The Hope and Anchor, The Waterats etc) plus being welcomed back to every intimate live venue the band have played. Ease Springs always attract press coverage as a local band and have recently entertained in excess of 22,000 people in Essex for the Radio Industry. (Ease Springs played this in 2007 and were asked to return in 2008, for which the band accepted).

In 2008 Ease Springs released their debut single called ‘Somewhere In Between’ as a result Ease Springs became featured and played across the UK on 38 radio stations plus made ‘A’ list airplay on Phoenix Fm (98.0FM).
This also generated interest from the local festival scene which secured them the main stage at the Basildon Festival’08 where they performed ‘live’ for a 30,000 capacity audience. (Expectation was high and Ease Springs delivered!)

The current songs reflect the band as it is now and Ease Springs is building in stature, as each day rises. The band is giving their music a creative edge embracing elements of every type of music genre combined with up beat rock and extravagance.........!

Advance One... And Be Recognised.
